Sample Projects

The following projects are ones completed by David Parker and/or Parker Healthcare, LLC:

  • Provided analysis of transformative CMS Innovation Center Value Based Care Model for Oncology.

  • Led the development of a CMS Quality Payment Program (QPP) Urology Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) Value Pathway (MVP) including serving as the project manager for multiple Advisory Boards, quality measure determination and responsible for the submission of the final MVP to CMS for their review. 

  • Developed and submitted three Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Quality Payment Program (QPP) Merit Incentive Payment System (MIPS) Improvement Activities (IAs) which included the following: (a) Health Equity Access to Care (Prostate Cancer), (b) Lung Cancer Screening (Lung Cancer) and (c) Care Coordination (Bladder Cancer). 

  • Led a project entitled “Lung Cancer Biomarker Quality Measure Concepts” that contained three quality measure concepts that were submitted to the to the CMS’ Collaborative Measure Workspace.

  • Led Quality Strategy on Population Health Initiatives for patients with Bladder Cancer, Lung Cancer, and Prostate Cancer (multibillion-dollar portfolio). 

  • Co-Led the Health Equity Workstream at the world's largest Healthcare Company.

  • Developed the Strategic Plan for $48 million Division of Government Agency responsible for overseeing Survey and Certification of Medicare & Medicaid Providers.

  • ​Performed Medical Records review for Long Term Care Acute Hospital to identify whether or not emergent transfers were preventable.

  • Developed cost estimate for 46 hospitals and 100 provider based clinics to move their billing to CMS’ Outpatient Prospective Payment System.

  • Performed market research and completed a technology assessment for the deployment of Physician Practice Management Software.

  • Developed Flu and Pneumonia Immunization Outreach Program whose goal was to increase the number of immunized clients in an effort to decrease hospitalization costs.

  • Performed trend analysis to determine inpatient hospital utilization rates for Delaware and Mid-Atlantic Medicare Markets of a managed care firm.
